The new year barely just begun, and already Bodog Poker has awarded two decidedly worthy internet poker players with $12,000 prize packages to the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
On the weekend of January 24th-25th, Bodog Poker held an exclusive tournament, inviting each of the Monthly Tournament Leader Board (TLB) winners throughout 2008 to play poker online in a special tournament. Up for grabs were two $12k WSOP prize packages, granted to the top 2 finishers of the event.
When the dust settled, congratulations went out to “alienface” and “PlaiGod”, respective winners of the tournament, who will be heading to Las Vegas this summer to represent Team Bodog as the 2009 WSOP.
Bodog Poker also hosted a T$12,000 Freeroll to celebrate its Yearly TLB winners throughout 2008. The top 100 TLB finishers were invited to take part in the exclusive poker Freeroll. The top finishers would share in the T$ prize pool. “T$”, or Tournament Dollars, cannot be cashed out, but they may be used to enter any cash tournament, in place of the real money buy-in.
As the final table came to a close, it was “rstewart13aggie” wrangling the top prize from runner up “DeRose84”. The final table results from Bodog Poker exclusive 2008 Yearly TLB T$12,000 Freeroll are as follows:

2nd - DeRose84 (T$1,250)
3rd - UFPokerStar (T$1,100)
4th - mr dynomite (T$1,000)
5th - maderbutt (T$900)
6th - 011jp (T$800)
7th - Tex3268 (T$700)
8th - Kevin Blackwood (T$600)
9th - boondock11 (T$500)
