Bodog Posts Odds On 2008 WSOP Celebrity Cashes - Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 11:31
As the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event draws ever closer, popular online poker and bookmaker Bodog has posted it's odds on which celebrity will cash the highest in this years most prestigious poker event.

There is already a vast number of well-known celebrities registered for the WSOP Main Event, schedule to kick off July 3, 2008. Among the highest odds posted at BodogLife are Academy Award-nominated actress Jennifer Tilly, famed actress, former model and poker player Shannon Elizabeth, multiple award winning actor James Woods, and Russian tennis star Yevgeny Kafelnikov, formerly ranked #1 in the world. Each of these famed celebrities received Bodog odds of 5/1 for finishing the 2008 WSOP Main Event with the highest cash.

Following closely behind with Bodog odds of 13/2 is former talk show host Montel Williams. Academy Award winner, director, screenwriter and actor Ben Affleck, comedian Norm MacDonald, best known for his 5-year stint on Saturday Night Live, multi-talented Golden Globe winner Don Cheadle, and German tennis pro and 6-time Grand Slam Champion Boris Becker were given the third best odds at Bodog, at 9/1.

Next on the list of Bodog's favored top-cashing celebrity odds, at 14/1, are Tobey Maguire (star of Spiderman 1, 2 and 3), Jason Alexander (George Castanza of "Seinfeld"), Ray Ramano and Brad Garret (Ray and Robert Barone of "Everybody Loves Raymond"), and Sully Erna (vocalist, guitarist, drummer and lead songwriter of rock band "Godsmack").

At the bottom of the list, with Bodog Poker odds of 30/1, sits former heavyweight boxing champion of the world Lennox Lewis, Major League Baseball's retired slugger Jose Canseco, actor, director and comedian Hank Azaria, and Penn Gillette, the speaking half of comedic magicians "Penn & Teller".

Of course, Bodog posted odds for the poker player expected to win this years World Series of Poker Main Event, as well; which not surprisingly failed to include any star-studded celebrities. The overall favorite to win the 2008 WSOP, according to BodogLive, is 3-time WSOP Bracelet winner and 2-time WPT Championship titleholder Daniel Negreanu, at 5/2. The second highest Bodog odds of 3/1 went to Justin Bonomo, who just last week was announced the newest member of Team Bodog.
