Bodog Poker is known for providing its members with one of the best online poker software clients in the business, and a few recent updates have only served to strengthen that actuality. Full screen and resizable tables top the list of most recent additions, while a new spotlight feature has been happily welcomed by most members of the online poker room.
Ask any online pocker multi-tabler and they'll tell you, it is always easier to play multiple tables when you have free reign of customization. One player may prefer cascading windows, while another wants full screen views of all tables. BodogLife Poker has integrated several multi-tabling functions to accommodate pretty much anyone’s preferred viewing style.
Full screen table views were added, along with the exceptionally favored ‘resizable windows’. This allows players to adjust all tables to the preferred size. Perhaps you are playing in a big tournament with two ring games on the side. In this case, you may enjoy the auto-tiling that places two windows in visible mini-view, with one larger main window for the big game.
Now if Bodog Poker could up its actual number of allowed multi-tables from 3 to - well, anything higher, really - players really could get the most out of Bodog Poker’s great new multi-table viewing options.
Members of BodogLife.com Poker have probably noticed the addition of active-player "spotlights" at the tables, as well. In the past, online poker players relied on sound effects to notify them that it was their play. At some online poker rooms, the sound effect does not chime until you are running out of time to act. And if you’re like many of us, you tend to play online poker when you can’t sleep at night. If you have a family, chances are they are trying to sleep, so jarring sound effects aren’t always the best route.
BodogPoker solved this issue by putting a luminescent spotlight over the table where the active player is seated. So long as you are keeping one eye on the table, you will always be aware of your turn - yet another new feature especially handy for multi-tablers.
It seems Bodog Poker is having all sorts of new ideas for its poker client, resulting in a number of player-requested updates just before the launch of the Bodog Poker Open II. Coincidence? Not likely.
