Players were logged on yet again last night to participate in the Full Tilt Poker $750K Guaranteed poker tournament. Last night's tournament did not see as large a turnout as last week but it was still enough to pay out the normal $750K. 3,402 players competed in the tournament and 522 of those players were able to earn cash for their efforts to play poker.
There were a few notable cashes last night during the tournament as many online pros managed to make it to the top one hundred but didn’t come close enough to the final table. Avril Sharapova came close in 12th place and far behind was Rayan "rkruok" Nathan in 34th. Greg “DuckU” Hobson finished in 46th while Brian “DUSoonerKid” Hansen finished in 59th place.
When it came down to heads up play it was between dajatt13 and Tom “titantom32” Braband. Both really wanted the $132,000 first place prize and didn’t want to settle for the second place cash out of $80,000. Though he tried hard, Braband could not come up with the win and on the final hand dajatt13 was able to take the first place prize.
