Full Tilt players were amped up last night as it was time for the monthly $1 million guaranteed tournament. One Sunday out of each month Full Tilt Poker replaces their $750,000 guaranteed tournament with a $1 million tournament. Last night's event drew a crowd of two thousand three hundred and fifty five players.
The buy-in for the event is $535 and nine players made it to the final table. Final table play didn’t last too long last night and all finishing at the final table took home a nice chunk of change. The first to go was ChipConvergence in ninth followed closely by vtlaxer09 and GhostRidelt.
As players tried to hold on to make it to heads up play, Brendan00, POK3RDUUDE and BRO20 would exit as well. The last three players left were CzarBushov, Charlie Jean and grimmy101, all hoping to make it to the final two. Unfortunately it would be the end for CzarBushov who would exit in third place.
Charlie Jean and grimmy101 would begin heads up play and it would not be long before a winner emerged. On the final hand gimmy101 raised with A-5 and was called all in by Charlie Jean who had 7-8. The board fell 9-4-3-7-2 and gimmy101 took the win and first place prize.
