Full Tilt is gearing up for the latest edition of their online poker series which will begin in early May. The online poker room recently released the full schedule of events as well as satellites for the upcoming FTOPS XII after much anticipation from poker players.
FTOPS XII will begin on May 8th and continue until May 17th. The series will have a total of twenty five events with twelve events having a minimum guaranteed $500,000 prize pool. The first event of the series will be a $216 no limit hold'em six handed event which will have a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
May 17th will see the FullTiltPoker.com Main Event begin with a guaranteed prize pool of at least $2.5 million. The buy-in for the Main Event is $535, not the largest buy-in of the series but the largest guaranteed prize pool. The largest buy-in will take place at a two day event with players posting $2,620 to compete.
Most of the twenty five events will be hold’em but many of those events will vary in their format. Six handed play, shootouts, rebuys, knockouts, turbos and multi-table poker tournaments will all take place during the series. Omaha, Omaha eight or better, razz, stud eight or better and HA will be featured in the series as well. H.O.R.S.E. will not be included in this online series as it has in the past. This time it will be replaced with a H.E.R.O.S. event.
