Full Tilt Poker had a pretty successfully night last night as many players logged on to compete in the Sunday guaranteed tournaments. The Sunday Brawl had a great turnout which resulted in an increase in the guaranteed prize pool while the $750k guaranteed at Full Tilt had more people but it did not result in an increase in prize money.
The Sunday Brawl has a buy-in of $240 plus $16 and with 2,000 players registered the $350k guaranteed prize pool rose to $400,000. This gave players an extra $50,000 in prize money and 189 players were paid.
When it came down to heads up play online players RipperC and babbelz were left to compete for the first place prize of $82,400. Babbelz was up in chips and on the final hand RipperC called but it was not enough to get the win and babbelz was named the winner.
FullTilt Poker Final Results: babbelz - $82,400 RipperC - $54,400 Eeman2004 - $40,400 bv4ever - $31,600 enjoyj85 - $23,600 AngryBeaver8 - $16,400 MarMoss - $10,000 ActionQueen - $6,800 spacegravy - $4,800
The $750K guaranteed tournament at Full Tilt had a good number of players competing, 3,646, but it was not enough to create an increase in the prize pool like the Sunday Brawl event. the buy-in for the event is $200 plus 16 and five hundred and twenty two spots were paid.
First place and second place of the $750k guaranteed tournament had a difference of over $50,000 so both tophy4life and badboypony fought hard to earn the first place finish during heads up play. but it was tophy4life who played harder and was able to earn the just over $130,000 first place win.
