When you hear the name Full Tilt Poker you think of top poker pros. The online poker site has a large team of poker pros that play on the site and represent the poker room in live events. Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and other poker pros are constantly in the news for their poker exploits at Full Tilt but recently another poker player has been making the headlines.
Mystery poker player Isildur1 has been making headlines recently for taking down major pots from the poker pros at Full Tilt as well as losing major pots. In the past few weeks, Isildur1has been part of several large poker pots including the largest pot won in online poker history, though he did not win that pot, Patrik Antonius did.
Isildur1 has continued to crush the Full Tilt Poker playing field at the high stakes tables. But the identity of the player remains a mystery. Those in the poker community have been calling Isildur1 ‘the Swede’ due to his name. the poker player recently recovered from a $5 million dollar downswing as well as earning back over $2 million in losses.
Isildur1 and Patrik Antonius have competed on several occasions at the Pot Limit Omaha tables. Isildur1 has asked Antonius on more than one occasion to move to the No Limit Texas Hold’em tables but in one instance Isildur1 would overcome Antonius at the Omaha tables.
Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Antonius all compete with Isildur1 on a regular basis. Dwan even issued a challenge to the poker player that was not accepted. Dwan asked Isildur1 to compete with him in the durrrr challenge which took place recently in London. Isildur1 did not show up so the identity of the poker pro still remains a mystery.
