Isildur1 is back in action at Full Tilt Poker as of late though he is not playing million dollar pots, yet. The poker pro went on a small hiatus just a few weeks ago but now he is back. Just a few days ago the online pro faced off against Tom Dwan and took $120k during the session at Full Tilt.
Both have competed against each other several times over the past few months and Isildur1 has been the main winner in the matches. Over a three day period the mystery Swedish player managed to earn over $5 million from Dwan.
But Isildur1 is not always so skillful; he has lost millions himself, just not to Dwan. So now that Isildur1 is back Dwan is trying to win back some of his cash. Isildur1 is sticking to the relatively lower stakes especially compared to what he had been playing.
Before the two faced off, Dwan has played around 2,000 hands with Cole South at the $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables. Dwan won $299,000 during that match and then he lost $70,000, mostly to Gus Hansen.
After this Dwan and Isildur1 decided to hit the $100/$200 No Limit Hold'em tables. Isildur1 had made almost $60,000 in just twenty four hands at the $200/$400 PLO table before they moved over to the smaller limit tables. The two then played 980 and Isildur1 added another almost $60,000 to his profit.
So during the whole night at Full Tilt Poker, Isildur1 managed to stay ahead with about $49,000 to his name while Dwan was in the hole with $5,343 in losses, which is not bad compared to what he has been losing over the previous months. So I guess we will have to stay tuned to see if Dwan will ever get up on Isildur1 or if the mystery player will continue to be the dominating player.
