PokerStars is giving poker players the chance to meet the latest winner of the World Series of Poker. Players can compete in special tournaments to get the chance to meet the 2009 Main event winner, Joe Cada in Las Vegas during a North American Poker Tour event.
The lucky player will get to meet Joe Cada in person in Las Vegas as well as participate in the NAPT event. Players can participate in free rolls at PokerStars to win the special prize package. Daily free rolls and $1.10 satellites have started and players have until February 12th to win a spot in the Grand Final. Players who win the daily free rolls will advance to the weekly finals and those winners will advance to the Grand Final.
The winner of the Grand Final will win the trip to Las Vegas to meet Joe Cada. The winner will win an entry into the North American Poker Tour main event as well as one thousand dollars in spending money. The winner will also be able to spend time with Joe Cada.
Cada became the youngest WSOP Main Event winner after he outlasted the field of almost 6,500 players. Cada beat the record which was previous winner, Peter Eastgate, had set when he won the 2008 Main Event.
The weekly final tournaments will begin at 6:30 pm ET on the 10th, 17th, 24th and the 31st of January as well as the 7th and the 13th of February at 9pm ET. This is a great opportunity for a poker player to earn a seat to an event on the new PokerStars tour as well as having the opportunity to meet the newest WSOP Main Event Champion. PokerStars has yet to announce the date for the event with Cada on the North American Poker Tour but more details will be released in the near future.
