As the New Year approaches, many online poker rooms make changes to their online poker sites. The changes are usually done for the betterment of the poker players playing experience. Each year brings new changes as poker rooms want to have the freshest and most exciting content to keep their players coming back for more. One of the online poker sites making changes in the New Year is PokerStars.
PokerStars has announced they are revamping their VIP Program in 2010. The online poker room will make their VIP Program better for their players beginning on January 1st. PokerStars asked for player input not long ago and the players responded.
Poker players at PokerStars will now be able to earn more rewards faster as the site has made it easier to earn points. The points system has been changed completely to offer quicker rewards for the players. Poker players will be able to earn VIP status more quickly as they only need 750 VPP"s instead of the 1,200 needed to gain SilverStar VIP Status.
The VIP Program is also adding a new addition. VIP Stellar Rewards will be added to the site this January for player's enjoyment. Every time a player hits 19 VPP marks they will earn a cash bonus. Players will also have their rewards automatically awarded. Players can also earn additional cash and other prizes with the new Stellar Rewards program.
GoldStar and Higher VIP’s will be able to participate in a special $1 million free roll which will be held on the first Saturday at 2pm EST in February, May, August and November. Overall, the new VIP program will give players the opportunity to enjoy the rewards that PokerStars has to offer in a faster way.
