This month top online poker room, PokerStars, is offering players a chance to earn extra PokerStars Passports. Players who finish well on the December Monthly Tournament Leader Board will earn extra passports plus a piece of the large cash prize pool.
The top 2,000 players on the leader board will be in the running to win one of six passports. Those who win a passport will be able to travel to the biggest live events including the APPT and the European Poker Tour.
The PokerStars Passport December contest is free to enter for players at PokerStars. Players only have to play in the same regular tournaments as normal between the 1st and the 31st. PokerStars has been offering chances to win Passports all year but this month players will have even more chances to win.
This is a great way for regular players at PokerStars to earn a passport. PokerStars is offering six for players to win and the possibilities when holding a passport are endless. Players can participate in the largest tournaments in the poker industry and possibly win and become the next big poker star, not to mention being able to sit next to top poker pros while participating in the large poker tournaments.
The top two hundred players on the December Monthly Tournament Leader Board will win a seat to the PokerStars Passport 2009 main Event. This tournament will take place on Sunday January 21st, 2010 at 14:00 ET. Below is a list of prizes that will be awarded during the main event.

2nd: 3-stamp PokerStars Passport
3rd: 2-stamp PokerStars Passport
4th: $5,000
5th: $4,000
6th: $3,000
7th: $2,500
8th: $2,000
9th: $1,500
10-18: $1,000
