The weekend was a busy time for online poker room PokerStars. The number one poker room saw a great turnout at their Sunday Million and Sunday Warm-up tournament and the prize pools were increased by over a half a million dollars total!
The Sunday Warm-Up is a $200 plus 15 tournament or players can earn their spot via a satellite early in the week. This past weekend the tournament had 4,900 players and this high number of competitors raised the guaranteed prize pool from $750,000 to $980,000. 720 spots would earn a pay day with first place taking home just over $150,000.
With such a large prize pool up for grabs both second and first place would earn a six figure payday this past weekend during the Sunday Warm-Up. Both philivey0997 and trippkirk would make it to heads up play during the tournament and both would fight hard to earn the first place finish. But of course there can only be one winner and in the end philivey0997 would earn the chip lead and make the final move to earn the first place win.

The Sunday Million saw an even larger prize pool increase. With almost 10,000 players competing, the tournament prize pool was raised from the $1.5 million guarantee to $1,806,200. The tournament paid out to 1,350 spots and first place took home a whopping $257,930 in prize money.
The top three players in the tournament would earn a six figure pay day with first taking home the huge $250,000+ prize. The first to go would be jeaphidh74 which would leave golferen50 and palurdo in heads up play.
After some time palurdo would gain the last chip lead and make a move to end the tournament. Golferen50 would call but his cards would not hold up and palurdo would earn the first place finish.
