The latest update to the online poker software at PokerStars.com and PokerStars.net has come with an interesting new feature – Instant Replay. Why not - every other sport uses it right? Maybe you can’t reverse a call like in the NFL, but it’s still very nice to know that you can go back and find out what went wrong on the last poker hand.
In the past, players would have to enter their hand history files to replay a previous hand, analyzing what happened and how they won or lost a hand. Most often, online poker players use this feature to scrutinize a bad beat or to discover how their opponent managed to outmaneuver them with second best hand.
Now, when a player suffers such a hand, they will be able to replay the hand instantly with PokerStar new instant replay option. The feature would also come in handy for multi-tablers who may find themselves confused as to how they lost a perfect hand, but were too busy in another browser window to see what happened.
As the leader in the online poker world, www.PokerStars.net is constantly innovating the industry, not just in regards to software, but in just about every aspect imaginable. Just last week, PokerStars announced the addition of several hundred more weekly guaranteed tournaments, as well as upping the existing prize pool of its largest online poker tournaments.
The guaranteed schedule was boosted from 199 to 483 GTD tourneys each week, while the Sunday Million was upped from $1 million to $1.5 million every weekend. PokerStars now boasts a weekly GTD schedule worth about $13 million, nearly twice its original $7.5 million.
There’s no telling where PokerStars will go next, but rest assured it will be of great benefit to members of the online poker room.
