According to a trusted online poker market analysis, Titan Poker had a very steady year in 2008. The largest online poker room on the iPoker Network, TitanPoker should be relatively pleased with its performance over the last twelve months.
TitanPoker.com averaged 5,100 cash players per day throughout 2008, never falling far below the average, nor exceeding with any significance. In fact, the gap between Titan Poker's lowest monthly average, occurring in June of 2008, and it’s most active month of March, is only a difference of 476 players.
Titan Poker and its iPoker Network make up the third largest online poker network in the industry, preceded only by PokerStars.com and Full Tilt Poker respectively. PokerStars averaged about 12,000 cash players per day over 2008, boosted by a triumphant end to the year with 20,000 averaged in December. Full Tilt Poker also saw a steep incline in December, bringing its annual average to 7,400 cash players per day.
The predominant difference between Titan Poker and its predecessors, PokerStars and Full Tilt, however, is the acceptance of US players. Both the top online poker rooms have held steadfast to their commitment to US players, while Titan Poker faces away from the US market. Without American residents in the player mix, Titan Poker has done a very impressive job of maintaining its position in the industry, no doubt stimulated by the loyalty of existing members.
