Pacific Poker is known throughout the poker community as having some of the softest games around. This is mainly due to the fact that they are connected to the biggest online casino - 888.com. They bring in more casino traffic than any other site, which leads to some pretty juicy games. Their software is not great by any means, but the player volume is good, and the competition more than makes up for the software shortcomings. There promotions are about an average. They don't give away as much money as a site like
Full Tilt, but they are still some good bonuses to take advantage of. |

Full Review of Pacific Poker |
If online poker had its own history book, then Pacific
Poker would surely be named as one of the original “Godfathers” of its
era. Launched in 1997, Pacific Poker has gone through many changes and
adjustments to keep themselves afloat as a contender in the online
poker world. Using a very simple and basic platform, the site has seen
an excellent growth in traffic over the past decade, with 10,000 to
15,000 people playing there during peak hours. In addition, the site
is one of the main hubs for cash games and satellites to live
tournaments (WSOP, Aussie Millions, WPT, etc) on the web, and they are
very well known for the fishes that swim in their waters.

Bonus Information & Clearance Rate
Pacific Poker currently offers a 25% bonus up to $100 upon your first
deposit. It’s not the most generous bonus out there, but it’s
clearable – albeit at a very slow pace (you must wager 20 times the
bonus amount received). Their loyalty rewards program somewhat makes
up for it, giving its players “Pacific Poker Points” for every $10 in
bets that are made. Once you’ve accumulated 100 points, it converts
into a $1, which can turn into a nice amount over a few sessions.
If you are looking for a bigger initial bonus, try
Full Tilt
Poker.
Software
As aforementioned above, Pacific Poker has relatively simple and very
basic software that it offers to its players. The table itself is a
large rounded felt, and you have the ability to toggle amongst 5
different table skins and room designs. Avatars can be turned on or
off at the player’s discretion and the table options offer things like
“average pot size” stats, flop percentages, and so on. It may be
somewhat boring to look at, but if you’re looking for a conventional
room that has a lot of the same features as the newer ones do, then
Pacific is the place for you.
Competition Level & Game Variety
The competition level at Pacific Poker is hands down the fishiest in
the world. From micro-stakes all the way up to the bigger games, flop
percentages at Pacific have been known to climb over 70% at some of
their ring tables. You’ll never have a shortage of bad players, and
the action is always constant.
Cash games at the site range from as little as $.02/$.04 to as high as
$100/$200 at the Limit tables, and buyings ranging from $2 to $5000 at
the NL tables. Pacific Poker also offers a variety of Sit and Go’s and
Multi-Table Tournaments that are running consistently. SnG buyins
range from as little as 50 cents all the way up to $735, with
tournaments starting at $1 buyins all the way up to the $100-$200
range.
Current games being offered at Pacific Poker include:
• Texas Hold ‘Em (Fixed Limit, No Limit, and Pot Limit)
• Omaha Hi and Omaha 8/b (Fixed Limit, Pot Limit, and some No Limit)
• 7-Card Stud and 7-Card Stud 8/b (Fixed Limit only)
Current Promotions
Pacific Poker is currently running satellites to the Poker Royale Main
Event and the Tower Cruise 2 tournaments, with buyins for each
starting at just $1 to $10! They also offer a variety of guaranteed
money tournaments, with their most popular being the $80,000
Guaranteed – held every Sunday at 3:30 PM. The site also runs
Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot promos and has a solid loyalty rewards
program that turns your Comp points into cash.
Customer Service
Currently, the only support options available are through email and
phone. You will normally get a fast response time for basic inquiries,
but expect longer delays when it comes to your cashier account.

Options include: NETeller, credit cards, Citadel, FirePay, PaySafeCard,
