Paris Poker Nut |
|
 |
A child of the wild 1960s, I spent years wandering throughout Europe, Mexico and North America (meeting Kerouac, Ginsberg, Corso, Tim Leary and others along the way) with one goal in mind: to settle permanently in Paris. Finally, on what was supposed to be a brief visit in 1969, a Frenchman who owned a hotel I had frequently stayed at asked if I wanted to sit in at a Left Bank poker game. Et voila, suddenly I was given a key to the door previously sealed tight. Thus for the next 30 years, I lived as a professional poker player in Paris, long before such activities were considered fashionable or cool. During that time, the games in which I played evolved from stodgy old draw through different variations of stud to pot limit Omaha and no limit Texas Hold ‘Em. |

Kaycee is coming at
poker from a different angle. She is new to the poker scene and
would like to share her poker journey with you. When Kaycee started
playing online poker in January of 2006 she had absolutely no idea
about the game of poker. She started with play money but was soon
impatient to move into the realm of "real" poker. She has been there
since February and has been a fairly successful "newbie" in that she
has yet to lose any of her own money. |
