Doyles Room is now down to four sponsored pros as Alec Torelli has left the Brunson 10. Torelli was chosen to be a part of the new poker team at Doyles Room back in July 2009 but now the poker pro has decided to leave the online poker room.
It is believed that Torelli is going to work at a new poker site that is starting up on the Everleaf Network. Doyles Room commented on Torelli leaving the poker room last week by stating: “Doyles Room confirmed that they are not renewing their contract with Alec Torelli. The online poker player is moving to another project.”
DoylesRoom has been working hard to create their new poker team made up of poker pros and losing a player is definitely going to put a hitch in their plans to have a full team of ten pros. In a recent press release the poker room commented that since they launched The Brunson 10, Doyle Brunson as well as the poker room has been overwhelmed with poker players wanting to sign with the poker room, many of which already have contracts with other poker rooms.
So the poker room is now down to just four poker pros of The Brunson 10 but the site is working to fill up the remaining spots including the one vacated by Torelli. The remaining players on the team are: Chris ‘moorman1′ Moorman, Amit ‘amak316’ Makhija, Zachary ‘CrazyZachary’ Clark and Dani ‘ansky’ Stern.
Will Griffiths the President of DoylesRoom commented that he would like to see the poker room make an announcement pretty soon about who will represent the site as part of the team. Griffiths commented they are not at that stage right now and they are waiting for players to get back from the Bahamas.”
