Tom Dwan Finishes March Well at Full Tilt Poker

Some of the best poker pros take to the tables at Full Tilt Poker to get in on the best high stakes action. From Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan, the high stakes poker tables stay busy as the poker pros compete. For the month of March the most successful poker pro at Full Tilt Poker was Tom Dwan as he earned just over three million for the month.

64,225 hands were tracked over the month of March for Dwan and he earned a total of $3.27 million. For the year, Dwan is now up to $4 million at Full Tilt and he is up $6.5 million since December 2009, which is a major accomplishment. Dwan has seen ups and downs over the past year and he is now just $400,000 away from breaking even at Full Tilt poker since the start of 2009.

This past week, Dwan benefited greatly by playing well in almost 20,000 tracked hands. Dwan earned $1.45 million over the past week as he competed in long sessions at the online poker room. Other players had good earnings as well in March at Full Tilt. Ilari Sahamies competed against Dwan in a few matches this month along with many others and he earned close to $2 million for the month.

Other players who had good months were Di ‘urindanger’ Dang who earned $1.3 million, Ashton ‘theASHMAN103’ Griffin who earned $828,000 and LokoIsBack who earned $825,000. And as always there were players who experienced losses as well. One of the players who went downhill for the month of March was Cole South.

South lost almost $2.6 million in March in just over 25,000 tracked hands. Gus Hansen also had a bad month losing $1.6 million in March. Patrik Antonius also lost over a million dollars which makes him down just over $3 million for the year.
