The first ever English Poker Open is set to take place this September and online poker room, DoylesRoom.com, is offering players a chance to win a seat to the event. The tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and is expected to see the best of the best come out and compete.
The first ever $1,000,000 English Poker Open will begin on September 15th and continue until the 17th. The tournament can hold a total of 270 players max and the main event will be hosted by the Dusk Till Dawn casino. Players will begin competing at 2 in the afternoon with a buy-in of $5,300 and players will be given a starting stack of 10,000. Side events will be taking place as well including a £560 NL tourney and a £280 NL Event 3.
Satellites are currently running at Doyles Room and will continue until August 30th. Players can compete on Sundays at 4pm in the Semi final for $55 or the finals for $268. The winner of the semi final will earn a seat to the finals and the winner of the finals will win the English Poker Open prize package. Daily satellites are also available for $3.30 and $11 for players to win seats to the semi-finals and finals.
So every week, one lucky player will earn a seat to the first ever English Poker Open. The $7,000 package given by Doyles Room includes: $5,000 plus $300 buy-in for Main Event, $1,700 for travel and accommodations, DoylesRoom gear, a personal introduction with Doyle himself and photos and a signed copy of both Super System 1 and 2.
This is a great way for players to meet the legendary poker player as well as rub elbows with some of the best in the poker industry who are sure to attend the inaugural event.
