PKR Releases Schedule for 2009 Oktoberfest
Online poker room PKR has announced the schedule for their upcoming poker series, the 2009 Oktoberfest tournament. Starting on October 15th, the online poker room will be offering ten poker tournaments over ten days with buy-ins ranging from eight to thirty dollars.
The tournament series will have a wide variety when it comes to the tournament formats. Players will find Deep Stack, Terminator and Double Chance events as well as Re-Buy, Ante Special events and Omaha Hi/Lo events.
Neil Wright the card room manager for PKR commented: "This year's Oktoberfest is even more accessible than ever with extremely affordable buy-ins. We’ve decided to run the festival alongside our new Primetime tournaments, which have proven to be hugely popular, so now players can get the great value of Oktoberfest events and also have a shot at another top tournament—all in the same night."
Oktoberfest will also have a special free roll take place. Players will earn chips by how many events they participate in. so the more tournaments a player competes in at Oktoberfest the more chips they will earn for the free roll. The free roll will be offering $5,000 in prize money.
