Online poker room PKR began creating their very own poker team just a few months ago and now the poker room has announced the addition of an eighth member. Adrien "zlatan35" Allain is the latest poker player to join Team PKR Pro.
Allain was very successful at this year's APT Macau as he won the Main Event and over $390,000. Allain qualified via PKR for the event for just $5 and this caught the eye of the online poker room. Now Allain has his very own contract with the online poker room.
Allain first signed up with PKR in April 2008 an since then he has become a regular player taking down major tournaments on the site. The twenty three year has won the Sunday $30k Guaranteed, the Saturday Big Shot and the Sunday $17k Guaranteed tournaments at PKR as well as coming in 6th at the PKR Live II Main Event.
Simon Prodger the marketing director for PKR commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Adrien as the eighth member of Team PKR Pro. He’s already proven himself at the highest level both live and online, and makes a fantastic addition to our stable of home grown talent. We’re also confident that his Adrien’s APT success will prove to be just the first in a long line of big tournament victories.”
Online players can compete against Allain at PKR anytime he is online. Allain plays under the name ‘zaltan35’ and will join his fellow team mates at PKR. The other members of the team are: Henry ‘Pokey85’ Eklund, Ashley ‘Ashleyhames1’ Hames, Raymond ‘callmebabe’ O’Mahoney, Kai ‘Kingkai84’ Paulsen, James ‘James666’ Sudworth and Andrew ‘Golfpro699’ Teng.
