Pacific Poker will soon be giving their players a chance to win one seat to the Cannes Charity Poker Event which will take place at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. High profile celebrities will be competing in the event so the lucky winner will be able to rub elbows with the Hollywood elite.
The Charity Poker Event is scheduled for May 19th and Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have already signed up to compete. The winner of Pacific Poker's seat offering will be able to travel to Cannes for a three day stay in a five star hotel as well as have their buy-in paid for the event.
Internet Poker Players can compete online at Pacific Poker in two ways: via poker satellites or the Free roll. Players who compete in the satellites are playing for seats to the Free roll and the player who wins the Free roll will win the seat to the Charity event.
Not only will the lucky player get to play poker with a ton of celebrities but the lucky player will also have the chance to win great prizes while competing in the tournament. Up for grabs is a $250,000 luxury beach house located in Durban, South Africa!
The charity event will help two charities: Not on Our Watch and One Voice for Freedom. Not on Our Watch helps children in the Darfur region of Africa and One Voice for Freedom helps to abolish slavery around the world.
