PKR has been hosting a special leader board challenge called the Road to Vegas. Players have already begun to participate in the leader board challenge and several packages to Las Vegas are up for grabs. Players can buy-in to the events for $10 plus $2 and there are seven packages up for grabs worth $4,000.
The top seven players of the leader board will earn the $4,000 packages and get to go to Vegas. Event 6 recently took place on the 8th with a no limit hold'em event and the next event is scheduled for the 13th of April and will be a pot limit hold’em event. The next event will take place on the 15th and will be a no limit hold’em terminator event.
The rest of the leader board schedule will continue through April and May and a few dates are in June. The schedule is as follows:
Event 7 - Tuesday, April 13 - Pot-limit hold’em
Event 8 - Thursday, April 15 - No-limit hold’em Terminator
Event 9 - Tuesday, April 20 - No-limit hold’em deep stack (6 seater)
Event 10 - Thursday, April 22 - Pot-limit Omaha high-low
Event 11 - Tuesday, April 27 - No-limit hold’em
Event 12 - Thursday, April 29 - No-limit hold’em $2 rebuy
Event 13 - Tuesday, May 4 - Fixed-limit hold’em
Event 14 - Thursday, May 6 - No-limit hold’em
Event 15 - Tuesday, May 11 - No-limit hold’em (6 seater)
Event 16 - Thursday, May 13 - No-limit hold’em double chance
Event 17 - Tuesday, May 18 - No-limit hold’em with antes
Event 18 - Thursday, May 20 - Pot-limit Omaha (6 seater)
Event 19 - Tuesday, May 25 - No-limit hold’em deep & steep
Event 20 - Thursday, May 27 - No-limit hold’em
Event 21 - Tuesday, June 1 - No-limit hold’em (6 seater)
Event 22 - Thursday, June 3 - No-limit hold’em deep stack
The playoff events will take place beginning June 6th with a no limit hold’em tournament. This is when the packages will be awarded. Six free rolls will take place in the playoffs and at least one package will be rewarded during the playoffs. The playoff schedule is as follows:
Sit & Go Freeroll - Sunday, June 6 - No-limit hold’em (two packages)
Top 50 Freeroll - Monday, June 7 - No-limit hold’em (one package)
Top 100 Freeroll - Tuesday, June 8 - No-limit hold’em (one package)
Leader board Freeroll - Wednesday, June 9 - No-limit hold’em (one package)
Iron Man Freeroll - Thursday, 10 June - No-limit hold’em (one package)
