Poker Stars supports the efforts of the Poker Player's Alliance and wants to give Poker Stars players a chance to support the PPA as well. To encourage players to join the PPA, they're running three daily tournaments for a limited time, each with a $5,000 prize pool. The tournaments will run at 8:05 PM, 9:55 PM, and 11:05 PM ET so all American players have a chance to play.

Good news for Mac poker players, Absolute Poker has added an Instant Poker feature that allows users to play poker without downloading any software. This allows Mac users (or users of any other non-windows platform) to play online poker at Absolute Poker! For US players, this is particularly good news as Full Tilt Poker had previously been the only available place to play for US Mac players. Now, Absolute Poker is an available option.
