Face The Ace Contestant Loses to Gavin Smith - Monday, August 10, 2009
The second episode of NBC's new poker show, Face The Ace, aired just a few days ago and a truck driver from Illinois was back to see if he could face the final pro and win $1 million. Don Topel had to face Full Tilt poker pro Gavin Smith in his final round of play on the show and beat him to win the $1 million. Topel risked his earnings last week to face the last pro this week to try for the $1 million prize and if he lost he would take home nothing. Topel played well throughout the show but unfortunately he was unable to come up with the win and went home empty handed. (full story)
