The Diamond Mines Tournament Series at Cake Poker - Wednesday, December 29, 2010
The Diamond Mine Tournament Series at Cake Poker is scheduled to run from January 10th - January 23rd 2011 and the promotion will reward players with $40K in cash prizes. In order to participate in the Diamond Mine promo you simply need to earn a 2011 Series Diamond Gold Card before the 10th of January. If you're unable to earn the card by playing poker in the Cake Poker room you can purchase the card from the exchange off of another player. (full story)

Party Poker has announced a wicked promotion that will start running on January 5th and end on January 30th 2011. The promotion will have over a $1 million up for grabs in prizes and players don't need to do anything special in order to have a chance at winning. With the Mini FTOPS running right now the major tournaments at Full Tilt Poker were a bit smaller then they usually are. This is good and bad for players, as it's easier to try and cash, but the prize pool is also going to be slightly smaller. Out of the three major events this Sunday at Full Tilt only one of them ended up having a deal made between two players. With the smaller prize pools I didn’t expect there to be many deals made, as it’s better to just try and win the event outright and keep the entire prize for yourself. (full story)
