PokerStars Gets License to Operate in Belgium - Sunday, February 12, 2012
There is good news for poker fans in Belgium. PokerStars has collaborated with the Circus Groupe to launch the site www.pokerstars.be in Belgium. The world's largest online poker site, PokerStars, recently announced that it has earned the license to operate its online poker room in Belgium. This makes it the first online poker site to obtain the official Casino de Namur A+ license from the Belgian Gaming Commission. The Belgian Gaming Commission had earlier, in 2011, given a license to PokerStars in its test phase, which can now fully operate its online poker room in the country. (full story)

2012 Aussie Millions Main Event Results - Sunday, February 05, 2012
The poker action down under is now over until next year and we have results from the main event. Before we talk about the results in the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event I wanted to talk about some of the other results. Phil Ivey managed to pick up a gold ring in Melbourne, as he won 1st place in the $250K Super High Rollers tournament. Ivey may have won the tournament, but he has lost the support from many poker fans due to the Full Tilt Poker mess that’s still not settled. (full story)

Speidel Wins Aussie Millions 2012 Main Event - Friday, February 03, 2012
Oliver Speidel has won the Aussie Millions 2012 main event championship after performing consistently at the felt for seven hours. The final table started with seven at the Crown Casino, Melbourne. When the day started, Bjorn Li was in the lead with 1.3 million in chips, but Speidel showed his class and composure to clinch the title. (full story)
