Summary (7.17) TitanPoker is making
a big push to try and become a major player in the online poker world.
Despite being a new room on the block, the company behind Titan Poker
has been around for some time. They previously owned and operated
Noble Poker before they sold it to Empire
Online. They quickly turned around and started up Titan Poker. They continue to offer excellent customer support and a fundamental knowledge of the game, something that other poker rooms seem to lack at times.
Software & Interface
(8)
Titan Poker has a very good software package. Their tables have a great design, and the players are three-demensional, adding to a more realistic playing environment. The lobby is well designed, offering valuable table information such as average pot size, the percentage of players seeing the flops, as well as the number of hands per hour being played. The software is one of the most stable platforms on the internet, with very rare downtime.
Ring Game & Tournament Action (7)
Titan Poker is bringing in new players to their site everyday. With lots of new advertising
aimed at their free poker site, TitanPoker.net, they appear to be growing in size each month.
As they continue to grow at a record pace, the sky is the limit for
TitanPoker.com. Despite their average size, there are always plenty of tables running, with stakes comfortable for the average poker player.
Game Variety (5)
TitanPoker game variety is very limited compared to rooms like
Absolute Poker. They offers Texas Hold'em (heads-up, PL, NL, Limit, and short-handed), Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo. These games range one-on-one games to 10-handed games. The limits on Titan range from $0.02/$0.04 to $50/$100 with buy-ins for tournaments ranging from $1 to $1,000. The game variety is
definitely a short coming of Titan Poker.
The Competition (8)
Because most of the traffic at Titan Poker is concentrated at the low limit games,
it is often the case that many of their players are typically just learning how to play. You will often find a table at Titan Poker.com that has 60% of the players viewing the flop. This translates to very action packed, juicy games for the small stakes player. There are not really many easy games above the low limits though.
Signup
Bonus & Promotions (7) TitanPoker.com is currently
offering a 100% up to $500 sign-up bonus on a players first purchase.
This is not one of the easiest sign-up bonuses to clear.
Typically the bigger the bonus is, the harder it is to clear, and
Titan proves this point. However, if you are a big time player,
and play at middle limit or high limit tables, then this promotion is
a lot easier to earn than a lot of other poker rooms. For more details
on how to earn your Titan Play Points and Bonus, please visit
our Titan Poker
Review page. When you sign up for your new account, be sure to use the
Bonus Code: VPPTITAN.
Customer
Service (8) Titan Poker offers email, live chat, as well as phone support. They customer service is very
knowledgeable and is very quick to respond to any comments or questions you might have.
