New Private VPP Sit&Go Table at Absolute Poker

The VPP Forum has really grown and we're thrilled to see that so many regulars are taking advantage of it and helping us to build a great online community. As members have gotten to know each other on the VPP Forum, it has become apparent that we need more opportunities to sit at the tables together. Right now winning a single freeroll is giving people bragging rights for far too long (we won't name any names here).  To help address this issue, VPP now has a Private Table at Absolute Poker for single table sit'n'go tournaments among VPP members.

This table can be found by going to Absolute Poker and selecting the tourneys tab, then the Sit & Go tab, then the tab marked "Private". The name of table is VegasPokerPro and it is set up for $5 buy-in NL Hold'em games.

Just like any sit'n'go table, games will start anytime we get 9 people at the table. We hope that this is something that will be a useful way for members to get together to hang out for a game. We'll also have some ad hoc events where VegasPokerPro will announce a time where they will be an admin or moderator at the table for a game and we'll throw in some bonus VPP Points for the winner.

Coming Soon - The VPP League Summer Season

We're still getting the final details worked out, but keep an eye out for an official announcement of the upcoming summer season for the VPP League. Those that played in the inaugural VPP League had a good time and many won some nice cash prizes to boost their bankroll. We took notes and listened to our members during this first attempt sponsoring a league and we've made a few changes to hopefully make things even better this time around.

The Summer Season of the VPP League will be 8 weeks long and will be made up $5 buy-in NL Hold'em Tournaments every Wednesday Night at 9:00 PM EST starting June 7 and finishing up July 26.  Some of these games (Weeks 1,4,7, and 8) will have extra money added to the pot and the top 5 finishers on the leaderboard at the end of the 8 week season will receive cash prizes. The total extra prize pool (including both the money added to the weekly tournaments and the overall league prize pool) will be $1000! More details to be announced soon!

The VPP Store is a Big Hit with our Members!
